The GBase System utilizes three parts: an opposing base, a working base, and an innovative mounting jig, which keeps the two bases in perfect alignment while attaching the articulating hinge. There is no need to change the hinge you have been using—whether you use Kwikalator, Vertex, Orbix, or a hinge of your choice—they all work with the GBase system.

The working side is designed with a special pin-seating matrix, which allows for variable pin placement. Because GBase uses ABS plastic material, pins fit firmly into the prefabricated holes, and will not stick or leave residue like standard stone. The pin-seating matrix is covered with a special non-stick foil that keeps the unused holes from collecting stone during basing. This gives your working model a smooth, clean surface with little or no cleanup.

The GBase System uses far less stone than conventional methods. The models are smaller and there is no base stone to distort your working side once the dies are cut out. Not only is this a savings in material and finishing labor, it produces a more accurate model. Your doctors will greatly appreciate the reduction in time for adjustments of occlusion and contacts.
